In Pueblo de Pescadores, La Salsa is located at one of the extremes of the rebuilt little restaurant plaza. The food is good, but the service is Superb! They made us feel very welcome. The best service we experienced during our week in Las Terrenas.

I tried this restaurant 3 times and really wanted to like it. The price was right but the food was not good - the service was miserable. Drinks were ordered, then not delivered. A reminder still didn't get drinks to the table. When food arrived, we REORDERED drinks and they finally came. I did give them 3 opportunities to wow... More

Beautiful settings, really nice staff, good price, really good food! This I believe is a must, and with this price, you should do it twice!

Our family stopped in here for lunch a couple times during a Las Terrenas visit. There is the set menu with about 5 choices at 150 pesos and 5 more at the 280 peso level.. You pick a salad and an entree at that price. A couple of the 280 choices had surcharges because they were premium (seafood platter). Menu... More

New construction, new decor, same great location. One of the few restaurants from the original Pueblo de los Pescadores, now rebuilt after the fire. Set menu for less than $4 with a starter and main course was a really good deal. The portions are not big but for me the perfect size for an evening meal. The service was great,... More

Went here with my wife. Not really a place you want to go to if you're looking for choices. This place features a pre-fixe menu and most of the items were not that appealing. The waitress was not that helpful, she was actually annoyed that we kept asking questions about the food. We ended up ordering guacamole, which tasted nothing... More

The best value restaurant in town for price, ambiance, & food! Located at the end of the Pueblo de los Pescadores and half the price of all the other restaurants! 2-course meal for either RD$150 or RD$280 (Lobster!). The fish we ordered was a modest but adequate size and didn't have great texture. Nevertheless, the atmosphere and price point cannot... More

We recomend this restaurant hold by a very nice French couple, right on the beah, very romantic decoration. We had dinner there 4 times (fish, meat, shrimps ) and were each time very satisfied, excellent food, and service is very pleasant.
