Dropped in for a few quick beers before dinner, good service in a nice clean bar, plenty of Tv's to watch any sport.

Having been on the beach in the blistering heat we were in need of a drink. Went in here and im so glad we did. The small bar menu was great. Best club sndwich I hve ever had. Oh and the beer was good also!!

Visited the sports bar whilst in on my honeymoon with my husband. We were staying up the road at the Crowne Plaza. Good value for drinks and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the live entertainment.

Had a couple of nights in here with colleagues. Great service, really good selection of ice cold beers, good sport channels, great views. Great place for a few

The beer garden at the Coogee Bay Hotel is spacious and provides a wonderful open air setting with views out over the bay and beach. Plenty of open and covered tables to cater for everyone's needs, including nice booths for smokers. The atmosphere is vibrant and its a classic Sydney beer garden. A fabulous place for a drink, but leave... More

First came to the Coogee Bay Hotel Sports Bar 7 years. We though it was great. Visited twice on this trip. Air conditioning not working both times. Just one fan operating in bottom bar and the whole Sports Bar was very busy. Bar staff mentioned that it had not been working for over a month. They said the hotel manager... More

Excellent location and great atmosphere both inside dining and in courtyard. Food unfortunately was disgraceful. We ordered chicken schnitzels, fish and desserts, and they were almost inedible. Would highly recommend for a drink, but not for lunch or dinner

Waited 15 mins in 'line' for a beer then walked out because we weren't getting served! Bar staff should look around and see who's been waiting the longest in your disorganised place.

After our Bondi to Bronte to Coogee walk we took a break before grabbing lunch. We walked up and down the streets and checked out menus before finally deciding to grab a bite here. The layout is beautiful out the back. Service is good and food was great - We ordered pork belly which came with mash potato & coleslaw... More

Staying in Coogee

Neighbourhood Profile
Very accessible by public transport, Coogee is the smaller, friendlier, more intimate version of Bondi Beach. Coogee is the only beach in the Eastern suburbs that does not have big waves, making it an excellent family beach. The Coogee Bay Hotel, located right across the beach, has one of the biggest beer gardens in Australia and plenty of entertainment every night of the week. Be on the lookout for celebrity footballers! A little further south is Wylie’s Baths, offering sweeping 180 degree views over the Pacific Ocean, and it is perfect for a swim or a few laps. Plenty of dining choices surround the beach, including the famous fish and chips.
