We needed a beer after a long day and we found this place. Good selection of beer and wine and a great ambience. Staff very friendly. We decided to have a "snack" and ordered a pizza to share which was delicious. There was a bigger...More

Loved looking at all the old fixtures and fittings, whilst enjoying a nice meal upstairs. Very busy but didn't have to wait long for our scrumptious dinner of home made chicken schnitzel and steak. House wine sav blanc is nicer than most places I've been...More

My wife and me came during weekdays. We had to wait at the bat because we had no reservation. But then a good food experience with great beer. We can suggest the garlic bread, the sirloin steak and the beef-guinness pie! Very nice staff.

we didn't make it upstairs to the main floor but ate in the bar downstairs, as it was very busy. Both the chicken salad and the steaks were much enjoyed.

Great Pub with a good selection of beers and great food to back it up. We enjoyed the outdoor seating in the cooking evening.

I recommend this place for lunch - good hearty pub food like pies, burgers, fish & chips - all delicious. They had colouring in for the kids and a good kids menu too. The building is beautiful and historic. I recommend it to warm up...More

The Old Bank is well named it looks old and the decor and the seating downstairs is well worn. I had the Old City burger here, not bad but also not brilliant. The restaurant upstairs looks much better than the bar downstairs, try that it...More

Absolutely excellent: the menu has been upgraded over the past couple of years and the current chef is doing a great job. Sure there are the stale items like burgers and porterhouse steaks, but there is a lot more... More
