Our eye filet was raw instead of medium and cold but the worst was our son's spaghetti which arrived hard (not cooked enough), we returned it. Came back 10min later ok but cost 25$!!! For a basic kid spaghetti as part of the kid meal under 10Y, this is way too expensive!!! (not even a dessert or drink included!)... Food... More

We stumbled on this place on our way back from the three sisters. Location is cozy old converted house. Service was professional yet friendly. We had two hungry kids with us and they were more than accommodating in getting them fed quickly so we could enjoy our food. We shared the zucchini flowers ans scallops and both were delicious. I... We dined here on recommendation from our hotel (Lilianfels) for our anniversary. The venue is cozy and warm, with a nice wood fire. The staff were welcoming when we arrived and made us feel special. The menu was really impressive, especially considering the pretty reasonable prices. I chose the risotto and my husband the kangaroo. His roo was cooked to... More

This has become our favourite date night restaurant for me and my husband. The restaurant is a lovely old house converted to a small restaurant and is cosy and homely. Atmosphere is casual and service is friendly. Food is really surprising as its pretty close to fine dining quality, in such a casual atmosphere. We always find ourselves struggling to... More

Nice setting, friendly and helpful staff. Lowish volume background music good for holding a conversation without having to raise your voice. But, we had twice-cooked lamb backstrap which was very chewy and chicken ballentine which was well-presented but dry and tasteless. The zucchini flower entree was good but the fig and mushroom bruschetta well below par for a restaurant that... More

We ordered the degu station which consists of 10 courses. The food was really good, a lot of meat (kind of hard as were trying to be vegetarian hehe) the scallop was the best and the panacotta was good. For the price it wasn't really worth it and the transition of food took a while. We started at 6pm and... More

We had Mothers' Day lunch at Pins. The grounds are lovely and the house is picturesque. All the staff were fabulous and were particularly helpful with me (as my meal needed to be gluten free). Everyone was friendly and quick to help. Finally, the food was stunning both visually and tasty! We can recommend the scallops, the zucchini flowers, the... More

This place has been one of our favourite restaurants for over 20 years on our annual visit to the Blue Mountains, first as the Swiss Cottage, then as a different version of PINs and then with the previous owners moving to Japan our first visit last night with the new management. Very much overpriced for what we received. The price... More

Good quality restaurant. Very pleasant waitresses greeted us and served us in a like manner. The evening we visited was something of a party atmosphere as there were 3 separate parties celebrating birthdays and the champagne flowed. That apart, the menu was excellent and the wine list was wide and inexpensive. So pleased we chose this delightful restaurant, we will... More

Pins is a favourite of mine and I always enjoy Pins for a guaranteed great dining experience in Katoomba. This weeks visit had one of my favourite fish dishes on the menu BARRAMUNDI and it was superb in every way. I finished of with Rocky Road Mud cake which satisfied my chocolate craving after substaining for a week (which is... More
