I always order the vegetarian laksa, a good balance of vegetables, tofu and noodles. I find the chicken and prawn laksa don't contain near as much vegetable portions.

Always get a quality meal here without the sweetness of the Papa Rich chain. No frills but authentic Malaysian cuisine. We had the Sar Hor Fun and nasi goreng, medium heat. We knew what to expect and were not disappointed.

Placed a lunch order for our office in Macquarie Park. All my collegues loved there laksa! We ordered chicken and seafood which was very flavoursome the broth. Also Nasi Lemak in beef and chicken was received very well in the team. Great place for authentic Malaysian feed.

Had lunch with one other. I had Char Kway Chow probably could do with a little more seafood and chicken but good nonetheless 3/5. Friend had Nasi Lemak 3/5 again good but not spectacular. Would come again? Yes

We came here on last day of CNY, and had the YuSheng, as not many places sell them. To be honest, I don't particularly like it, just a traditional thing to eat, out of novelty. The YuSheng here, was a lot bigger than I'd expected- small was big enough for 5 of us. They don't do all the verbal sayings,... More

Short Review: Must try foods - • Otak Otak • Fried Kuey Teow • Rojak Longer Review: This is a restaurant I've driven past a number of times on the way to Chatswood but never really felt sure if I'd stop. After all, I was on my way to another Malaysian restaurant there famous of their street food. So while... More

They bill themselves as The Malaysian Food Experience and they spot on: they serve great authentic Malaysian food. I've eaten here many times and, while the service is slow, the food is always sensational. I love the noodle dishes - choose their Mee Goreng and Char Kway Teow with 3 levels of heat - the hottest level works for me.... More

We went to Sambal for lunch and I ordered KL Hokkien noodles because it was on the weekend Special. It turned out to be the worst Hokkien KL noodle dish I have ever tasted. I was very disappointed with the quality. What was in the dish? A few Hokkien noodles with a couple of squid, a couple of small fish... More
