I can tell you that there are NO chef's in this establishment as the food was horrible. After waiting for what seemed an eternity the soggy fat drenched fish & chips arrived and was inedible. Beer out of the tap tasted as though the lines hadn't been cleaned this century. Definitely eat elsewhere.

After being seated downstairs for about half an hour and having drinks. As we tried to order they told us we couldn't order downstairs after serving the person in front of me. Then wouldn't seat us upstairs. Finally got on one of the already empty tables upstairs and waited an eternity for our food. Then food was woeful for mid... More

This was the most unhelpful and worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant or pub. We waited an hour and a half for a table and was told it was bad luck even though we had tried to book and they said just come in. The food was horrible and took a long period of time. There was a... More

Dropped into the bar for a few Great Northerns when on a family holiday, when the boys sent to the shops. Good for a punt and a pot.

Still against my word tried it again. How bad can this pub get?. Ordered classic Chicken Parma - chicken been... More

On a cold windy night in July I wandered in for dinner. Service was a little better than average but food was standard pub grub. I am sure it would be fine for going out for a quick feed and some drinks. It's a sports bar.

The hotel has been in recievership for 4 years pending sale . Receivers have failed to do any maintence or upkeep . While some rooms have fabulous view m they are slowly falling into a state of disrepair . Furniture is somewhat dated , cupboards. Benching and cornices pedalling paint. Beds are confortable , TV is somewhat antique , and... More
