During our trip along the Great Ocean Road we pulled into Lorne for lunch & got some burgers at the Bottle of Milk Cafe. I have had some nice burgers in my time but these were considered the best we have ever had. They had an amazing choice of different types of burgers to choose from & their chips are... More

We stopped at this burger joint in Lorne on the way to our farm stay and were not disappointed despite having reasonably high expectations! Décor is suitably ‘surfer café from the 1970s’ kinda vibe – nice and relaxing! My wife and I shared “The B.O.M.” which is pretty much loaded with everything including an cheese, egg, beetroot (very Aussie!) and... More

A different and original way to present a very good hamburger if you do not feel like a big spend up. Tasty and plenty.

I'm surprised to find a burger place is no 1 anywhere but I have to say we had great burgers here with great chips. Try the blue cheese and/or bacon & cheese burgers. One burger with a portion of chips is big enough for two people, the craft beer is good too! Recommended.

Having set off early from Melbourne and made a couple of sight seeing stops along the way - The Bottle of Milk in Lorne was an excellent place to stop for breakfast. The service was great and the breakfast delicious, with 'proper' freshly squeezed orange juice. All good.

This has to be the best burger I've ever had!!! Was huge and full of flavor! Got it to take away and ate it on the beach.

The burgers were full of flavour, large in size and served quickly. The meat patties were cooked perfectly well seasoned and juicy. Our vegetarian friend reckoned the vege burger with gf bun was the best burger they had ever tried. The generous portion of chips/fries were the best we've eaten, thick cut cooked golden brown and super crisp with light... More
