Really enjoyed the experience that we had at Mt. Erica. I brought my girlfriend here for dinner and we were welcomed with a warm greeting and an even warmer fireplace. The staff were great and very knowledgeable about the food and wine that they serve. We both got the "Feed Me" and there must have been 8 or 9 things... More

We used to frequent the Mount Erica hotel often and it was a warm friendly great place for a drink and hot chips in the sunny courtyard, or a hearty meal by the fireplace on a cold winters night. For some reason they have changed their format and are now offering tiny overpriced meals, being served by snooty unfriendly staff... More

First dined at this place with my partner and some old friends who had chosen the restaurant for our catch up. Such a knowledgeable and eclectic group of individuals there. Always get to have a chat with staff other than our waiter. We now dine there regularly for date night. The open plan and fireplace makes for a relaxing atmosphere.... More

Food=8/10 Atmosphere = 8/10 Service = 2/10 Pompous behaviour of waiter Robin/Robyn certainly ruined the most wonderful tapas dinner and wines we had. Perhaps further training of 'real service and mannerism of table / bar service staff' from Mt Erica management will hopefully improve customer's dining experience and hard work of Mt Erica's kitchen staff.. Absolutely ghastly service from Robin.... More

On arrival we were disappointed to wait several minutes to be acknowledged by someone. After a lovely drink by the open fire, we were shown our table next to the entrance hall to the toilets. I get that not everyone can have the best table but storage, fluro lights and the sign saying 'staff only' was a distraction. We enjoyed... More

Went here with my partner on a wet Sunday evening in October. The vibe was great, the musicians fantastic enough to retain us despite the lack of any food service and in the face of ridiculously expensive, yet impressive wines. This Pub has been through too many reincarnations and none have been incentives to frequent the place more than the... More

My wife and I recently visited the main restaurant which is now a tapas style menu , we were impressed with the food and service however it seemed out of place with the pub setting which had a tiled floor and lacked atmosphere even though there were other dinners on a cold Melbourne night. I found the wine list very... More

Although there was one lovely waitress and a good ambience here, we were very disappointed in our experience. I am allergic to gluten and chips are usually a safe option. I checked before ordering these (as I always do) with who looked to be the manager and was told that they are gluten free. When these were brought out I... More
