I remember I stopped by the Shamrock nearly 30 years ago and enjoyed trout. But this time, the place has lost it's allure, the food so-so. There is only a limited choice of restaurants in Pemberton, not a problem if you're staying two days, but...More

Very expensive for what they offer. We had a steak, veg and fries each, one soft drink each and a slice of Apple Pie each and it cost $98, not worth it.

This is a family run business using local produce. The food is as fresh as you can get. The chips are made with potatoes they grow themselves. Really friendly people and a good might out.

Visiting Pemberton for a few days we decided to go to the Shamrock after seeing a very complimentary flier. How very disappointing. The place was none too clean, the service was poor, the food was awful. My steak was mostly fat, cooked medium rare not...More

The cafe was recommended to us for pizza. When we asked if they did pizza they said "no!" We then asked what take aways they provided and the lady said in a rude manner, "fish & chips". I got the distinct impression she didn't want...More
