This restaurant suffers in that it is right next to Betty's Burgers (superb, keenly priced, good decor) and thus one cannot fail to compare the two. The service here was ok and the food was run-of-the-mill but we got a sense that the staff were a bit "chilled" and not really on it and the overall vibe was a bit... More

Ten of us ate here for lunch and would have rated it higher at that point. We were however, more than slightly annoyed that their widely advertised 'Happy Hour' oyster special was no longer available 25 minutes before the scheduled hour was up. We were advised by one waitress they were 'completely sold out' - but another brightly informed us... More

I ate breakfast here with my husband just after new year in the height of the holiday period. This place has a very "cool" vibe. The menu attracted us as it had a healthy and fresh feel. The staff seem like travelers and really need to pick up their act. They look hungover, tired and scrappy.Staff are half the experience... More

This place has been on Hastings Street for over 20 years. $1 freshly shucked oysters every Thursday 5 to 6 pm. Get there a bit earlier to get a table. Staff are very pleasant and efficient.

Great food and nice atmosphere. We have the whole barramundi and side salad and this was enough for 2 people. The staff were friendly and really accommodating for our 18month old daughter.

We spent 3 weeks in Australia and we felt that this restaurant had the poorest value out of all the places we ate at. My family of four ate here for breakfast and we ordered nothing out of the ordinary. Was the priciest breakfast we had and at the end we felt like we were not full.

Just read some of the other reviews which were not so nice. We went for dinner, We were greeted by a friendly waitress, shown to seats immediately, water arrived shortly after. Our drinks arrived in a timely fashion as did the meals which were fantastic. Huge serve of fish and chips which was very well done and a tasting plate... More

We stopped for lunch with our family after walking from Sunshine Beach. We waited for a long time for someone to serve us. Finally a very rude waitress advised us we couldn't order lunch as it was 11.50am and lunch doesn't start until 12pm! We asked if we could just order anyway and wait and she refused. She told us... Description
One of the longest running restaurants in Noosa, Cafe Le Monde is arguably one of Hastings Street's most well known restaurant & bars, and has long been a must visit experience when visiting Noosa.

With its stylish, yet casual approach, Cafe Le Monde offers alfresco dining in a relaxed environment. In fact there is nothing that says you are in Noosa more than sipping on a cool drink, enjoying a famous Cafe Le Monde Noosa Seafood Platter and watching the world pass you by on Hastings Street as it does at Cafe Le Monde.

Ever evolving, Cafe Le Monde has recently been transformed with a new contemporary look. With its relaxed vibe, Cafe Le Monde offers an inviting menu drawing on local and Australian produce.

Open for breakfast, lunch, all day good coffee from Clandestino Roasters, dinner, tapas in between and late night drinks, it is a restaurant that offers something for everyone.
