Amazing and lovely food they have in here!!! Freshest and sweetest seafood I've ever had! The Morgan's special seafood and raw oysters are highly recommended. And never leave Ireland without the Irish coffee here... soooooo good!!! Unbelievably true :) Enjoy!! A bit out of town but definitely worth all the effort.

The idea is brilliant...Sadly it fails miserably. Too expensive for what it provides. Poor wine list and poor menu. There are better places.

Just had the crab claws and smoked salmon with a creamy pint of Guinness in front of a blazing fire on a very stormy St.Patricks day in the fine company of a Galway girl. It's the small things!

We are here recently. My partner ordered fish and chips - one small piece of fish with frozen chips arrived. He asked for more tartare sauce twice and eventually got it. €16.50 for a small piece of fish and frozen chips is steep - and no salad garnish or vegetables were included. He asked for a pint of Heineken twice... More

The oysters are amazing. We started off with raw and grilled. Both were delicious! We then got the fish stew- which was very tasty. Entrees were fish and chips. Very tasty. We sat by the cute fireplace. The service was excellent. Everyone was very attentive. Food was fresh and served quickly. Went on a local's recommendation- glad we did!

I grew up on the northeast coast of the United States, and I humbly think I know a little something about great seafood, especially oysters and other shellfish. The oysters I had at Moran's were the equal of any I've had--impeccably fresh and clean, with a sparkling brininess. I paired them with a Guinness. It simply doesn't get any better... More

Heard a lot about this restaurant so decided to go. Atmosphere was v good & staff on the whole friendly. Wide selection of fish, but @80% of dishes were salads - maybe it's me, but I was expecting more 'cooking'. €27 for a salad is a bit steep.

4 of us travelled from Castlebar to Moran's for Sunday lunch. It came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. The only problem was trying to decide what to eat. The seafood choices (although limited due to the time of year) were still amazing. Starters - seafood chowder, oysters, and vegetable soup; followed by steamed mussels, and fish and chips.... More
