We returned here after a few years away and were very pleased we did as the food was excellent and good value. My husband said his steak was one of the best he had and the monk fish and prawn dish was superb. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday evening in January so this place obviously has earned a... Have been coming here for years but under new ownership. However food still pretty good, steak Portuguese style very good but would pass on the crepe Suzette, soggy and bitter, this was not replaced even though we were asked what it was like. Prices reasonable for the area and although January a steady stream of customers.

We visited with friends on a cool January evening, we were greeted in a pleasant manner and shown to our table near a roaring fire, for January the restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. The menu was was concise with some excellent selections to suit most palates. The service was friendly with nice interaction with the waiters... More

Not having been to the Algarve for several years we returned in January 2017 for 10 days of glorious sunshine. We remembered previously going Casa Pituxa many years ago ao made a reservation, on arrival it was obvious that there had been a change of ownership. The welcome was was most encouraging and there was a pleasing menu. The starters... More

Not been here for many years but thought I'd give it a try again with a golf buddy. Had read it was under new ownership. Arrived early so not surprised restaurant was empty but it got busier later on. The interior is quite rustic but a roaring wood stove fire gave the place a cheerful appearance. The food, chicken in... More

Visited in November for dinner. We had not been here before, but will definitely be coming back! Considering the time of year, the restaurant was quite busy. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely beef stroganoff. We will definitely return in the summer with our family.

We have a holiday home in Vila Sol and booked this restaurant for the first time when we were on holiday in November. This is located down a narrow side road on the Almancil to Vale Do Lobo road and when we parked up and walked to the front door it appeared we were entered a private home, however once... More

The restaurant's advertising is that it offers the best steak in the Algarve. While they were very good I somewhat doubt that they are the best. Still, worth a visit.

This is a restaurant I have been going to for some 25 years. It was good before the new owners took it over, but there is now a more modern approach to everything from the décor to the food. The service is friendly and Angel I think is his name is always good fun and attentive. We will be there... More
