Had dinner here twice while staying in Zamora; the food is exceptional but after the second time we decided not to return; we are bad at Spanish and do not expect automatically that people shall speak English for us; but how will they sell their wonderful dishes to visitors from abroad if no one is able to speak English and... I have to tell you we eat at some pretty fair restaurants living in Miami and where did this place come from in a small Spanish town like Zamora?!!! We had one of our best meals traveling throughout Spain (Barcelona, Madrid) and Portugal (Porto, Lisbon) at El Rincon. We saw the Trip Advisor rating and it was close to our... More

The place is located in the very center of Zamora. It offers a very affordable menu for the high quality of it. All the five dishes are delicious and the desert has a fantastic raspberry ice-cream. If i come back to Zamora i definitely stop there again. The service is also excellent.

We went to this restaurant as it was included in our Michelin Guide. The waitress at the entrance was totally unfriendly and looked like annoyed insted of welcoming us. She had a rough way of acting, very out of place in a restaurant of any level. Another waitress told us to eat a specific plate using the provided spoon in... More

My husband and I ate in El Rincon de Antonio in September, 2014. Zamora is a relatively small town and we were surprised to find such a good restaurant. The food was delicious, and the Protos wine we had enhanced the meal. The dishes we liked included octopus on top of veal tongue in a caramel/mushroom reduction, shrimp with chopped... More

On the way from Salamanca to Leon my husband and I stopped in Zamora for some sightseeing and a light lunch. Based on the Tripadvisor reviews we decided to eat at the bar at El Rincon de Antonio. We each ordered the tapas tasting menu of the day which consisted of a selection of four interesting tapas, bread and a... More

Having had the tapas there two years ago, I was determined the next time I went to Zamora I'd have a full meal there. An excellent decision. I had the taster menu which was a very reasonable price - pay no attention to some of the sillier reviews, by the end I felt more than adequately full!! The garbanzos (chick... More

Top marks. We had sherry and tapas here and the bartender, the brother of the chef/owner, was personable, friendly and helpful. Our tapas were first rate and we were very happy. We would have returned for dinner but our schedule didn't allow it. We saw a sign in front that said dinner price now 32 euros.

This review is for the bar and tapas menu only as I did not eat in the restaurant. But I would if I had the time! I had five tapas for lunch: monkfish liver with an avocado snow; cream of tomato soup with a prawn; boqueronnes (pickled anchovies) with tomato and three nutty bready scoops about the size of a... I was only in Zamora for one night on my four weeks travel around northern Spain yet I managed to have a degustacion dinner there in the evening and also squeezed in a lunch at the bar before I left on the afternoon train the next day. That's how good it is, and like most of the others here (ignore... More
