We ate at this agriturismo during our stay in the Lecco area and we can definitely recommend it. You get a set menu with a great value for money - 35 € for 7 delicious courses. The service is very attentive and friendly and the...location is super beautiful. It is a renovated, lovely farmhouse in a picturesque setting. One important thing to know: in order to get to the restaurant by car you have to pass a village that has streets so narrow that only a tiny car can pass through. And even with a tiny car I wouldn't have tried it ;-) but there is a parking lot right by those narrow lanes and you walk the remaining 500m from there. When we finished dinner it was pouring outside and one of the people working there offered us a ride back to our car. Very lovely. That way we also saw that it is possible to get through the narrow street.More

We had a wonderful lunch here with friends-the food, the service and the location were all perfect. It's a lovely 10 minute walk up to the restaurant from the village and a great way to start. Lunch was a set menu with a choice of...main course and the dishes use seasonal, local produce, all carefully and lovingly prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming and even though the restaurant was full, the service was friendly and helpful. We will be back!More

First came here several years ago for a wedding dinner of a friend - greatly enjoyed the natural beauty of the property, along with good food, simple wines and friendly service. Decided to come back with my husband for a weekend lunch and found it...was as good, if not better than before. First things first - getting there - don't bother if you have a standard size car i.e. ford focus. For the wedding party, they sent these TINY vans to come fetch us as there is a part of the street which is very narrow and most standard size cars wont make it. We parked at the bottom of hill to the property and walked the remaining distance (about 600 mtrs) to the property. And it was a bit rainy but a lovely walk - you go past their gardens, pig pen, orchard onto the lovely house. It was only a 10 min stroll up and enjoyable even in overcast weather. Old Italian ladies were doing the walk so its not hard - and you can pause to admire the surrounding garden and farm as you go. You can also ask them to come fetch you if you prefer not to walk. We arrived for lunch into their lovely stone walled dining room with a roaring fireplace on one side and doors to the patio around the room. We thought it would be an a la carte menu but we were presented with 6 [or was it 7] course fixe menu with some choices of mains. Within a minute of sitting down, we had some sparkling wine in our glasses to welcome us and an amuse bouche to tickle our palates. I won’t go into the details of the dishes other than summarising our meal which included a variety of antipasti, risotto, mains with lamb (perfectly prepared) or vegetarian options and a lovely dessert of tiramisu made traditionally and simply, nothing fancy - just perfect. For this lunch, we found it important to just go with the flow and enjoy the simple presented delicious food (which comes at a good pace and in generous portions), good wine, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen does a great job highlighting local flavours and we had a lovely 2.5 hr lunch there - noting we were one of the first guests to leave!! Tables around us were big families and some were old couples - all low key and all eating, taking a break outside for a walk, and then continuing eating. It is truly an enjoyable laid back lunch experience which was perfectly suited to the beautiful natural surroundings. In the summer, eating on the terrace is also quite lovely! There is a separate dining room for private parties on the terrace as well which had a party that afternoon so the wait staff were busy, but you could not fault them for anything. This is a family run establishment and you appreciate the simplicity and thought behind the meal they present. Suggest you leave yourself an open schedule when dining here so you can take it all in. The meal was EUR 90 all in for the two of us, inclusive of wines and tips. I will certainly come back again next time we visit Lake Como - perhaps with a few more friends and request a toasty table by the fireplace.More

Really amazing food. All organic from their farm. Spectacular view of the lake. Nice environment newly decorated. Amazing experience. You can ask when you book to pick you up from the little town or you can enjoy a walk up to the restaurant.

We found this place up on the hill only because we took a tour through Lake Como Food Tours; however, I am SO thankful we did find it!!! Such great dinner (5 courses) and the quaintest atmosphere. If you want authentic Italian (sorry no pizza)...then GO HERE. (Vegetarian friendly but not vegan friendly.)More

Great location, stunning view and organic and local food. This place is the right combination of location and local food for a perfect Sunday lunch with friends and family. You can reach it walking 10 minutes from Garlate or ask for a shuttle service that...will drive you straight to the restaurant. You can buy local honey and jam, highly recommended !More
