Please be aware that this restaurant is no longer Das Alpen or a German restaurant...it closed down and then reopened as an Italian restaurant. Just fyi for those who may search it and head there expecting to find German cuisine.
"Das Alpen Cafe" offers a wide varity of European Tastes, just like the different countries sharing the Alps. There is the German Schnitzel available & the Italian Pasta & the French Wine & all equally tasty...

Stopped by for Brunch and it was not very good! Bland crepes, mediocre coffee, boring menu. This was not Brunch, not exciting and could use improvement!

Love the menu and the nightly specials. They also have a variety of new tapas specials. Tried the brunch had the eggs benedict with asparagus and was great.
The food are excellent , the service too. I think Gisela is the name of the person who helped to served our table, and other guy, they are very kind.
Excellent customer service. I enjoyed their crepes with egg, mushroom and spinach. Nicely decorated and very convenient location by the town square.
