Visited Ronda in July 2016. We parked in the Parking Martínez Astein, which was an underground carpark (nice and cool) and very reasonable. It was also "bang" in the middle of Ronda! Didn't travel far and we came across the El Patio. I think they were about to close for Siesta... as there was no-one in there ...but we were... More

Nice place, not so big and very friendly staff. Visited by locals and tourists. Crowdy but in a good way. Fast service in a pleasant way.

Four of us out for a day trip to Ronda popped in for a coffee as it was raining. Two hours later we left having had tapas sherry and coffees. There's no trendy upmarket hard sell here, just good old fashioned service with a smile. We decided to try some tapas and the waiter recommended this and that and told... More

My family, along with my father-in-law stopped here for lunch. We sat outside, where it was lovely, in the shade but we could still enjoy the people walking by! The food was lovely, we all enjoyed our meals! They have a tapas of the day special which I would recommend if you are, as I was, new to tapas! The... More

We have eaten at El Patio on three occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed it on every occasion. The service had always been friendly and welcoming with perfect English spoken. The restaurant is not in the main tourist area near the Gorge where the restaurants tend to be more expensive but is located on the north side of the town, a... More

We have eaten at El Patio three times now and it has become our "go-to" restaurant in Ronda. The restaurant itself is an attractive building, complete with a patio andaluz. The staff are friendly and the food is good, typical Spanish fare without being pretentious. We often joke that it is our "private dining" restaurant as on each occasion we... More

Located just off the pedestrianised man street, El Patio is unpretentious, but full of atmosphere, a restaurant oriented towards the local Spanish clientele rather than to tourists, and all the better for it. The staff could not have been more friendly and though the food is nothing special it is more than adequate as regards both quantity and quality. When... More
