My family has eaten here on a number of occasions with the food usually of a decent standard. Unfortunately on this occasion we where really disappointed with our meal. For starters we ordered the baked Camembert which was cold on arrival at our table, the crusty bloomer was also standard white bread which can be bought for 50p from any... More

Very disappointing. Used this place about a year ago for breakfast but wasn't great. Thought I'd give it another try for lunch. Still disappointing. Insipid wattery salt laden lentil soup. Two small fatty lamb cutlets in too thick over-salted gravy. Background music too intrusive. No compaints about service however.

I was wanting to try a wagyu burger fior a while so had one at The Burnbrae. It was a lovely meal but not sure if the wagyu was much different to ordinary burgers.

I like the Burnbrae although it can be noisy- so if you want a quiet seat you can request that. Anyway we called in for a quick dinner and I went for my usual - macaroni cheese and chips ! Its usually quite a plateful and fills you up ! But no ... the portion sizes have halved. And the... More

With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, great beers and super choices of pub food favourites, the Burnbrae is the best pub in Milngavie. Dog friendly too. A must for families and travellers to wind down and dine out.

Had late afternoon/early evening dinner at the Burnbrae as was in the area. Pleasnt surrounds, friendly staff and extensive menu. I had the fish and chips (regular size) and was freshly cooked with chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. The regular was large enough for my appetite and I cant image what size the large would have been. Fish was... More

Tasty grilled gammon steak for me and excellent burger for another of our party. Good value for money with friendly attentive staff and a cosy setting.
