It is some time since we visited The Earle Arms, which was generally busy and we were rewarded with good food. This time, it was almost deserted. We ordered our meals: my Thai red curry arrived with a plate covered by about 90% rice. The...More

This isn't true as you well know. But you aren't worth arguing with, no one is interested in your narrow little life, you don't have to write a blog every time you leave the house. Maybe find a hobby.

Just visited and was made to feel like a visiting alien. We won't be going back, good food or not! So unwelcoming it was unbelievable.

Very constructive. If you were a visiting alien I'm sure you would be far more interesting than you actually are. Thank you for not ever returning.

As a pre-amble, I used to live for many years just a few miles away and yet never ventured here before. I guess that the main reason being that Heydon is at the end of a dead end road. So one must first decide to...More

Only went for a drink this time but will definitely return. Menu looks interesting. Customers looked satisfied and a lovely country pub. Check out its website for opening times particularly in the winter but do try it out. For a small pub well off the...More

Please call in again soon. We do realise that our opening times do catch people out sometimes, we shall try and make them more obvious and understandable especially in the winter. Thank you for your constructive comments.

Perfect "English country Pub setting" for a Sunday afternoon or sunny evening. Inside a little jaded and cramped. Food reasonable and sensibly priced.

I've eaten here many times over the years, the food is always top notch, excellent value for money, charming atmosphere, easy parking in a beautiful well kept village. Mr D. Truesdale

We saw the sign for the village and decided to visit. The Earle Arms has a reasonably priced menu and helpful staff. We both had a half-lobster salad - excellent value- and sampled (unusually) rhubarb scrumpy; this was delicious and refreshing on a hot day....More
