Such a lovely place. The lady who runs it makes the most amazing carrot cake and coffee. We brought our newborn baby here several times as our first safe bolthole from home and it was just perfect.

I go here regularly and have never been disappointed. Amazing coffee and friendly owner and staff. Food is simple but tasty. I hear they do pop up restaurant nights with a local chef which are amazing so watch out for these as spaces go pretty quick I think! Asset to the local community, seek this place out.

Visited yesterday for lunch and was so impressed with this tiny cafe. The staff were warm and welcoming and chatty - we had homemade quiche, soup and incredible carrot cake. And the coffee was the best we've had for a long time! This place is the perfect anecdote against overpriced, poor quality chain places. It's quite hidden off the main... More

I went here with my friend who lives in Ardingly to enjoy a nice lunch as it is within walking distance of her house and she wanted to try it. It does have a nice ambience when you walk in and the staff were friendly. But sadly after that it deteriorated. The menus were all grease marked and stained. The... More

Popped in for a quick lunch. A small cosy cafe perfect for a catch up with friends. Very friendly lady in charge who looked after us. I had delicious home made parsnip soup and lovely fresh brown bread. On leaving I could smell chocolate brownies cooking - irresistible! I ended up buying a Brownie to take away and thoroughly enjoyed... More

Wish every small cafe was as good as this one. Personal service is always excellent. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Food always delicious and surroundings definitely cosy!

Five weary cyclists in need of sugar, we arrived ten mutes after closing time and the lovely owner opened again for us, putting table and chairs out for us and providing us with delicious, great value cream teas and cakes including a gluten free cake. Could not fault it.

We stopped here for a coffee after a long drive and enjoyed the comings and goings of local people as they collected delicious looking croissants and cakes.
