We went to Cafe Ebel with my friend and we both ordered chocolate cake - super delicious! Cafe latte with soy milk was really good too.

After reading all the praising reviews on this place I was keen to visit. However when I did I was disappointed to say the least, I didn't even manage to order anything and had to leave. Waited and waited and waited for someone to serve us. When the waitress passed by my partner had to beg her to get our... More

We had to wait a really long time just to get the drinks included in the breakfast. The breakfast itself was also not that good. At least it was a good deal. But the bagels looked much more delicious than what we got. I think the waitresses were totally overworked.

We found this cafe by chance and it soon became our favourite place for a mid-afternoon break. The coffees were very good and my husband loved the hot chocolate. The goulash soup was excellent and there was a wide choice of delicious cakes to choose from. The only slightly negative point was with their English breakfast tea blend, which made... More

This cafe is such an oasis in a sea of cafes. It is so good, we never visit Prague without popping in for wonderful cakes or soup and bagels. I would recommend this cafe to everyone staying anywhere near the Old Town Square and of course beyond, the icing on the 'cake', is that it is very reasonably priced. I... More

We loved this cosy little coffee shop while visiting Prague. We went twice for breakfast! Great way to start they day, they had delicious fresh bagels and cakes and lots of other options! Very nice atmosphere and the girls that work there are very friendly! One of the days the shop seemed under-staffed and the girls were rushed off their... More

The cafe offers a welcome retreat from the the hustle of the city. The coffee was excellent and they had a great variety. Had a snack for dinner which was also very tasty :)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
