Great traditional Czech food at a reasonable price, with excellent service. The location is good with views over Prague and the place itself is nicely done with a very traditional feel to it. Would definitely recommend.

Relatively good food, both Czech and Slovak one. On Saturday I enjoyed live music from Slovak mountains. Spacious.

We went there as it was close to our hotel (globus). Our taxi driver recommended it to us whilst dropping us off and we are happy that we went there. The food was delicious and hearty. The interior was surprisingly good and offers great views over Prague. It was very reasonably priced-£35 for two main meals, 2 desserts, and 2... More

So today i took my mother to Koliba restaurant which seems to be one of the more fancy restaurants or at least what they presents themselves... 1) personal- they dont even say hi to you, nothing at all, so trully one of my worst experiences... 2)food- we ordered 2 salads and cabbage soup....cabbage soup was almost good, but its up... I went today to Kobliha and place and food are nice and not overpriced, kudos for the well cooked meat. HOWEVER, THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. They charged us for some almonds which were over the table (expensive) and the excuse of the waiter is that they were listed on the menu, but the menu was served to us after we... More

Friendly staff with excellent grilled ribs, halusky were home-made but cheese/brindza could be little bit better and lamb pasties with sour cream was very tasty.

Koliba Praha is an imitation of a traditional Slovak barn with a Slovak restaurant within. The food was mediocre, the service slow, the setting of the whole place rather kitschy. It may play well with large groups of tourists from far, far away... As it is set on a hill overlooking the city, you may expect a very nice view.

From their Czech language menu...we had meat platters for every 4th person..mixed meat, potato pancakes, cabbage and dumplings.... group had soup, main course and dessert. Dill soup was nice and not overbearing as I am not a dill fan. Grilled veggies came out a little earlly while we waited on the meat platters. We agreed, having the soup beforehand was... More

The restaurant is situated on a hill overlooking Prague which is very nice and on a sunny day you are able to enjoy the terrace. The waiters were very slow with our orders though and the food was over cooked (steak) or to salty (chicken). With some minor changes this could be a very good restaurant.
