Don't even think about showing up without a reservation. This place has become deservedly popular, even though it looks far away on the map. In fact, it isn't (it's only minutes from downtown on the 22 tram), but when you arrive you'll feel like you've gone back in time to this charming little restaurant/tavern nestled alongside an old monastery and... I just had the best meal in Czech Republic. The pork knee is amazing. I hoped I had visited this place before. Today is my last day here.

Great food and beer, we really enjoyed the dumplings. The rabbit and duck were awesome. Service and staff also very warm and welcoming. Ambiance really great, inside a monastery.

Great traditional Czech cuisine that you can wash down with fresh beer while warming yourself by the great hearth fire.

This restaurant is located next to Hotel Adalbert at the Brevnov benedictine monastery. The food is excellent and they also have an excellent selection of locally brewed beer (the monastery runs a brewery just a hundred meters away from the restaurant)

Our son booked us all into here as it was his birthday and he lives nearby. The ambience is first rate, very cosy and dare I say it, romantic. The menu was (to us Brits anyway) very trad Czech, they have lots of nice beer too which is always welcome. The service is good but businesslike, they don't seem to... More

We had a wedding in the Brevnov Klaster so came here a couple of times for drinks and food. The place is in old settings, with good service, good beer and traditional czech food. Recommend for a pit stop when visiting Brevnovsky Klaster or the area.

They have great draft beer. I think they made it in monastery. Zander was good. They bring wrong sauce. Service was good too. Minus maybe only it was very noisy, because of stone walls.

Thank Igor L
