Found this great steak bar. Service was polite and quick. Steaks were premium. My pork neck steaks were very good, and all 7 members of our group enjoyed the plates, atmosphere and good service. Right on the main square. Go for it.

Had a gr8 time at this restaurant... lots of giant draught beer 🍻 mugs with juicy chicken wings & Pork belly slices with Memorable Czech paprika chilli pickles . Had a hearty meal , saw the animated clock show from the restaurant & enjoyed the cosy feel on the cold cloudy day from the heat radiating from the gigantic hot... More

Food was ok. But disappointed that we ordered our drinks and food together and they came out together. Staff were just standing around but didn't bring out drinks any sooner. Took a while for them to bring menus to us in the first place as well. Wouldn't recommend going think there are nicer places for the same price with better... More

Its a restaurant of the Grand Hotel Praha, they have indoors and patio seatings. Their goulash was quite good. Nice, casual friendly atmosphere. enjoyed it.

Often difficult to get a good martini in Europe but once I told them I didn't want a martini cocktail they got right to work providing a great martini and a good bar atmosphere right in the middle of the very touristy old town. A bit of a refuge.

Good grill. We had ribs and quesadillas which were plentiful and delicious. Service efficient. Nice place to watch the world go by and the crowds gather for the hourly show at the clock as the figures (people) rotate for a while above the dial.

Staff were rude like I have never encountered before, was laughed at and ignored. So thankful they didn't have what I was after at first so I didn't have to contribute to this bill.the group I was with were quick to make sure they wasn't a cent in tips going to anyone working at this bar.

We enjoyed the food and drinks and loved the wonderful stuff that were very welcoming. At first they said they don't have a place and when we were ready to go they called us back. They found us a place and we enjoyed very much from the food and atmosphere.

Not much more to say than the subject. Definition of a tourist trap. Wouldn't mind paying over the odds if the food was spectacular but it most definitely was not.

This restaurant is very well placed if you are waiting to see the astronomical clock chime. Sadly that is where the positives end. Staff were rude and inattentive, the food was very poor quality and did not seem fresh. Food and drinks were also outrageously over priced compared to superior restaurants and cafes several metres away.

Thank Peter F

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
