We ate at Dinitz all 3 days of our trip, not for lack of better options. The food was fresh and tasty. I can recommend the salmon salad or the Dinitz burger. The salmon was grilled to perfection on a simple salad with fresh ingredients full of flavor. The burger is not for burger purists, but may be the tastiest,... More

I ate at the restaurant twice in the same week. First time the food was good. The second time I ordred the exact same meal and it was awfu: the sauce and vegetables were like in a cheap fast food place. It turns out that once a week they have a good cook, while all the other days it is... More

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Food is overpriced and not in the quality you would expect for such a high price. Stuff is also quite rude. Try to find different place. There are many better and cheaper restaurants in Prague.

we ate there at the end of March. We chose the restaurant because of good reviews and kosher status. But a very disappointing memory from the low quality of food and service (dry bread and not very good chicken).

While in Prague, we decided to attend Sabbath services at the historic Altneu Synagogue in the old Jewish Quarter and then go for a festive dinner at one of the kosher restaurants in the neighborhood. Such dinners have to be booked and paid for in advance. We chose Dinitz because of the good reviews we had read, and were not... More

I had a dinner in the restaurant few days ago; the staff is pleasant and easy to communicate with; the waiter familiarized us with the specifics of the kosher cuisine, and patiently explained what each dish was like. I ordered a goulash soup, and a sampler. The food arrived relatively quickly, and tasted very light and fresh. It is a... More

We chose Dinitz as it seemed to have the best reviews on Trip Advisor if you want to eat kosher. The starters were rather limited - they all contained houmous - so if you like houmous, they are perfect for you! The alternative is soup and my partner in crime and I, both opted for the vegetable soup - a... More

Food is very fresh and of high quality and nicely presented. However the decor of the restaurant is tired and in need of decoration -not a fan of the red walls- why not brighten up with some nice pictures.

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Prague!!! We tried lots of different dishes and each one was amazing. The wait staff was helpful, nice, and attentive. When I asked for ginger tea, the waiter made me some off the menu. He said it was what he made for himself. Ginger slices, mint leaves and honey -- even my... More

The restaurant you can find at the end of the jewish quarter. The place is low decorated. the dishes are limited but tasty. For someone dont know so much about kosher food you will find out not so much. The best way is to try the mixed appetizers. All are tasty and fresh. There are not so many other dishes.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
