I have to say that in my life, being a vegetarian, I came across complicated restaurants, where the vegetarian option is not so obvious, however I was never so embarrassed as in this place. The only reason we were here was the fact that my sister isn't vegetarian and I wanted her to experience traditional food. The place had great... More

Really went here having read a recomendation for the garlic soup with cheesy bread. I was not disapointed - it was a great start to the evening. This restaurant serves very hearty Czech food. We were warmly welcomed, enjoyed the goulash / sirloin in cream sauce , both served with plentiful dumplings , both of which were excellent & washed... More

In the tourist centre of Prague it is getting harder to find tasty traditional Czech food accompanied by reasonably priced Czech beer. Thank God for this place. A godsend for locals at the same time as being friendly and accommodating to visitors

We loved the food and service and beer in this authentic Czech restaurant close to our hotel Residence Bene and just loved the food and service and the beer was good as well. Loved the food and are still talking about it. Highly recommended. Residence Bene gave us a discount coupon of 5% so that is how we found it... More

We were a big group and loved the food, thanks to the great chefs! The staffs were extremely rude, loud chatting in the end table. One of my friend left early after dinner. Will not come back again, only for the service level.

We went on a bike tour and asked the guide for a great place to eat after... he said we were welcome to join him for lunch at his favorite place that was right around the corner and we were so glad we did! It was sooo good! You need to be able to read the language because the menu... More

Atmosphere and service fine. Menu a little limited, but most restaurant/bar eateries are such in Prague.

It is not to be easy to find .... back street, small, hidden....but i promise you....it VERY worthy. Very good local food at prices you wont believe. And to top this.....people receiving people....unbeatable!!!! will be back.

The restaurant is perfectly located - 10 minutes away from market square in Josefov district but also away from main streets, so prices are much lower. It doesn't mean that food is bad. This is really tasty and I think everyone will find something for himself. I fell in love with garlic soup with cheese and bread. We were there... More

This restuarant is located in the old town of Prague. The outside looks attractive and seems to offer authentic local-style food. Unfortunately, we did not have what we expected. The food and the services are plain and they are not that bad tasty. It is for quick meals with a reasonable price.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
