The Pizza is really good, the dough is very crisp and airy. The service is nice and friendly, we really enjoyed our meal.

Arrived late on a cold easter evening. All tables inside were taken so sat outside. Heaters made the area lovely and warm! Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Pizzas were nice enough and arrived quickly despite restaurant being so busy.

On our last night in Prague we looked for a restaurant near our hotel and the reviews pointed us to la Fresca. We hadn't booked and although it was early on a Wednesday evening we were told the only tables a available were basically in the corridor leading to the actual restaurant downstairs - the reviews had warned of this... We had coffee and cakes here after a visit to the castle on a rainy and cold day - we sat outside as they had heaters and blanket which was nice as we could sit and people watch. The coffee and cakes where very nice but very expensive the bill came to nearly £24.00. So beware the cafes around the... More

Food: Lasagne slice was small dry, very small slice with little meat. Calzone was below average. Atmosphere: The staff were friendly , the restaurant has a warm and relax feeling. A lovely down stairs cellar type area. We were so hungry and just wanted some where to warm to eat and we got that . Food wasn't fantastic but it... More

Four of us stumbled upon this restaurant on our last night in Prague after walking away from 2 other pizza type establishments. Whilst this is not fine dining, it offers a range of mostly Italian dishes, a decent choice of wines and good service. The setting was cosy and comfortable. We were surprised to be shown to a table downstairs... More

The food was great. The service was great. A cozy little restaurant not far from the Old Town Square. It's worth taking a trip to this restaurant. Nice prices as well.

We visited here last night. It was warm inside and the merlot tasted as it should. There the positives end. We ordered bruschetta, lasagne and a chicken and mushroom pasta dish. The bruschetta was simply a pile of chopped tomatoes chunks of raw garlic and basil on untoasted chunk of bread. No seasoning, little taste and presentation left a lot... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
