Great service and good food. Lovely ambience. Got my order mixed with the table next to me. Sure it does not happen every day. The waitress was so charming and professional. Prompt and fixed it in no time. Sweet

Dropped in for lunch on our first day in central Prague and went back for dinner. Good local dishes at reasonable prices in a lively location with lots of locals. Highly recommended for a visit.

We stopped off at this cafe after walking passed as it looked nice from the outside, the decor was lovely and quirky (some good paintings monet and bansky). We had a great waiter (George) who was fun and pleasant and good craic and met all our needs. The food was tasty and fresh (the portions weren't massive but it suited... More

We arrived to have a dinner. We got seated really quickly, but then the staff forgot us for good 10 minutes. The waiters walked around looking busy as heck gave a very hectic feeling to the place. Even though nothing seemed to be happening. Once we got the food we ordered we noticed right away that the rib eye steaks... More

One of the best places in prague to have breakfast or brunch! A lot of variety. The staff is also flexible when it comes to changing some ingredients on the dish. Really friendly also. They have a smoking and a non-smoking area which is great for non-smokers!

We booked a last minute table for breakfast/coffee. There were 9 of us. The table was reserved and the welcome was helpful. We ordered a mixture of drinks and breakfast foods and they were served very quickly and the quality of the food was excellent. We enjoyed our time at the café but unfortunately the service of one of the... More

Tables are close, so the one star deduction, but the ambiance is much nicer than what is pictured. We went at 6 pm on an offseason Monday night, and the cafe was packed with locals, Menu has good variety, we had 2 soups, both delicious (chestnut and chicen). We shared a goose breast appetizer, had good czech wine, delicious coffee and... How this place has a good reviews bewilders me. Continental breakfast ordered...2 hotdog sausages, cold egg, cold beans and some effin' cucumber. Ridiculously priced to top it off! Poor.

English breakfast was horrible. Cocktail hotdogs, no bacon and cucumber on a full English (should be illegal). Nice place to be fair but felt like I'd be robbed when I came out.

Thank Harry G

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
