This tavern is located right behind the Church of Our Lady before Týn on the historical center of Prague. The tavern offers unpasteurized beer and typical dishes of the Czech gastronomy, the food is very good and the portions are quite large so I recommend a single dish per person. The prices taking into account the size of the portions... More

We finished lunch and started to check our plans of sights. In 5 minutes appeared a waiter and told we need to hurry up as they've got many visitors. Half of the table were vacant :(

We got to this place as part of a tour we took. The food was unbeatable and without taste. The only positive thing to say about this place is that the place is beautiful.

Typical "czech hospoda" in the center of Prague. The food was average, big portions but quality is not exceptionnal. Very good non-filtered Gambrinus on tap, though. Not cheap for the quality, but prices can be considered as decent given the location. Very slow service.

I will preface my review by saying we did not spend a dime here. In fact, we walked out immediately after we were seated. Our first interaction with a server here was a one word answer while walking by us after we walked in, she said "full." Then some people got up from a table and the second server came... More

I went there with some friends because we just wanted to have some beer and we ended up having a complete dinner. There food is really attractive (I ordered the pork knuckle and its meat was very tender) and the beer, both the light and the dark one was tasty. I would recommend this restaurant for the nice atmosphere

Very average pub food. A bit of a tourist trap. Beer ok, service patchy. Non smoking downstairs which had less atmosphere, though so smokey in non smoking area not sure what the point in separate areas was!

The waitors act as if they have no time for you. Not only are they rude to the guests but also yell at each other and create a rather uncomfortable atmosphere. Don't come here unless you have nerves of steel.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
