We had a tasting menu, which was excellent. Good price-to-quality ratio for French red wines. Good service but the waiter said that the restaurant was to be sold and would be closed for some time. We wanted to return but it seems that it has not reopened yet.

We went there Saturday evening. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and it seems so that it has been closed for ever. But we found another pub. Friendly people and cheap food and drinks.

On a last minute whim my friend and I decided to head to Prague for a night on our way from Munich to Denmark, via auto. We arrived into Prague at about 10pm on Friday night and headed straight for the hotel to check in. After a quick freshen up we headed out on the town, ravished for food having... More

We enjoyed the Lime and Tonic Tasting Menu with a very good bottle of Cotes du Rhone wine. The highlights were the seafood soup and the boeuf bourguignon. The soup was packed with mussels, sea bass and shrimp in a delicious broth. The boeuf bourguignon included tender chunks of braised beef that fell apart under our forks. We have not... More

Dear Robert, Thank you very much for your positive comments. I remember that night we had full house. To be honest, I was a bit concerned about the level of service and quality of food, since on very busy nights both can slip away from our standards, but I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Once... More

The restaurant is on an unremarkable side street, just a few minute walk from IP Pavlova Metro station. Inside the place has a comfortable modern feel, despite classic art paintings on the wall – which I prefer to some two-minute-to-paint modern art anyway. Our waitress was really friendly, explained all the dishes and helped me connect to the free wi-fi.... More

I've visited this place dozen times for b.lunch and really really like their coffee. Overall atmosphere is good and stuff is just perfect. On a dark side saving money tactics works not well. Cheap business lunch pastas I usually ordered are average (not homemade and some time were not cooked well). And it seems like they run out of money... More

Our hotel was just across the street and we stopped by for a late dinner. We were the only guests but were very much welcomed. We had a cocktail called " Hugo" and it was great. The food was fresh and locally sourced. The pumpkin soup was the special of the day and it was delicious. Overall it was a... More

Saw the reviews and decided to stop in since my hotel is across the street. Was here for late breakfast. Had an omelette with homemade bread and latte. The food was very simple but very, very good. I was the only one there but the waitress said everyone else was still asleep from staying out too late. Very friendly service... More

This was one of the highlights of Prague! Wonderful food and very friendly service. I usually hate live music but somehow even the piano playing was simply mellow... There were four of us and we had two courses. Every dish was excellent - from the vegetarian wild mushroom risotto to the beef goulash. The waiter also gave me some good... More

Cafe Ermitage is a friendly restaurant inspired by the idea of the St. Petersburg gallery of Catherine the Great where in the salon "hermitage" art lovers admire the beauty and contemplate. Our goal is to provide great food using fresh and seasonal ingredients, served professionally in a relaxing ambience of our restaurant. Our current food menu includes authentic and regional specialties from France and Italy. Lapin a la moutarde, Boeuf Bourguignon, Beef Tagliata and fresh fish(according to availability) are just a sample of this month's offer. Our wines have been selected carefully to match our cuisine by our external sommelier, winner of national and international wine competitions, Jakub Kral. After our regular customer's request, we have added Czech cuisine specialties to our menu. The current offer includes Svickova , Beef Goulash and Slowly roasted pork belly.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
