We visited Pivovarský dům on a long weekend break. It was a short distance from our hotel, but came across it by chance. The Sour Cherry Beer was excellent, as was their dark beer. My wife had Pork Medallions with a blue cheese sauce which...More

Enjoyed my diner. Not expensive. I chose the "mixed grill" that was under section 'food for people that eat a lot'. Well... I don't, but could have eaten more.. ;) Nothing to complain about. I liked the beer taste option (wheel of 8/10 different beers).

Closed long before stated closing time. We only had chance for one beer each -would like to have had chance to try the sour cherry one but just got sour staff instead! Horrible bright lighting in the bar too.

Traditional Czech cuisine with huge portions, good value for money. They brew their own beers, flight of beers (sampler tray) of 8 beers available. Some of their beers have too much diacetyl ("butterscotch") flavours. I recommend the green nettles beer.

As with most home brewery places in Prague, the beer was great. Had the dark beer which was lovely. The food was ok. Our group had pork knee, goulash and smoked pork. All was ok but more of an average home cook standard rather than...More

Really nice authentic Czech food, the battered mushrooms were one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten in my life. Good selection of beers - Cherry beer was lovely, banana beer not so nice but worth a try. Great location and friendly staff

We went here for an early dinner and I was excited to try some cool beers. Unfortunately the menu is sparse on explanations and our waitress didn't speak English. They had tons of beers but couldn't really figure it all out. The food was good...More

Popped in for a quick beer while wandering about looking for my hotel...it was round there somewhere! Stopped for a while and tried about 8 beers that ranged from quirky to tasty to absolutely some of the best beer I've ever had! I took 2...More

Recommended by the guide book we had with us. Very local and off the beaten track. Great experience! Traditional local cuisine which was delicious. Lots of their own brewed beers to choose from which meant we both were able to find a beer we would...More

The restaurant is very large, I didn't see anybody smoking in there but it may have had a non-smoking area, and a separate smoking area.
