Ordered the goulash, arrived cold flavourless, and not in the crusty bread as advertised, worst goulash in Prague! The girls toilets has no lock, no toilet seat and wobbles!!! Just do yourself a favor and keep walking!!

Hidden down a small passageway, this is a small, cosy restaurant. Some pictures lie and others don't. My wife selected squid after seeing a photograph of two huge squid, similar to those sold at beachside barbecues in Japan. The reality was somewhat different. The actual dish consisted of a group of little squid about three inches long, rather than the... More

I have visited this restaurant plenty of times in the last 5 years. The food is good enough. BUT this was the last time I will ever visit this restaurant again. I organized my birthday dinner there for me and my friends so I made a reservation for us and everything was fine until my friends who wanted to surprise... More

The restaurant is situated in a small alley, a bit more quiet and away from the fuzz at the city square. Good pizzas and garlic bread (see picture). The service was polite and ok but the waiter seemed a bit "stressed" from time to time, not towards us but to other tables.

We were looking a place to eat some pork ribs when we came up over this place which is just across the Charles Bridge. Because the location is away of the crowdy street, we were lucky to find it. The food was tasty and cheap compared with other restaurants from the Old Town. We paid 8 euro for a portion... More

The restaurant is very centrally located, just off the Charles Bridge and you really cant miss this walking down the street and the friendly wait staff is really trying to lure the customers in. That is clearly how we fell and ended up in this joint for dinner. You are walked into an open area courtyard seating, which is rather... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
