Please don't tell anyone... but this place serve the best beer and the best koleno in town! And being in the pub when Kometa beats Liberec in the finals doesn't make it any worse. So let's keep this a secret.

Unlike many other restaurants around, they do specialize in one thing only - roasted pork knee and exceptionally well served Pilsner Urquell. This combination makes the place truly exceptional and worth visiting!

The beer is (still) one of the best in Brno. Pork knuckle is one of the kind. However the service for the occasional customers is not the same as for the regulars. Worth a visit if you can put up with being looked upon as an invader.

This is the real Czech Republic experience that you would have to go well off the beaten track in Prague to find, yet only 10 or so minutes from the heart of Brno. Me and my friend had been trying out the near by Lucky B Brewery, and decided that the time had come for something to eat, and from... More

Went in the afternoon around 1 pm for lunch. Was served in 30seconds, ordered took in 2 minutes and beer, bread and pork knuckle served in 3 minutes. Faster than fast food I say! Taste? Perfect microfoamy fresh beer! Best Pork grilled knuckle in the entire world. Taste of fire penetrated the meat in and out. Skin thick but crispy.... More

Came here after reading other reviews and for the fact that it was at the bottom of the hill from our B&B and was not disappointed. This place was beyond busy with most of the patrons on the pavement outside. There were only 2 staff one continuously pouring pilsner urquell and the other delivering beers to the tables. If your... This is the typical czech pub, interior, the waiter, one of the best Pilsner I've ever drunk and if you like roasted knee, this is definately the place you have to go, I've never had better knee than here.

As it was only my second time in the pub, I was shocked that the staff remembered me... They remembered the beer I was drinking and my preference in foods. They were very kind and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. For all of the high level guests there to behave as regular people and no... More

The pivo we had here was excellent even though it only was the Pilsner Urquell. There was no indication that they did any food apart from some snacks at the back of the bar. Outside drinking was allowed even though it was on the street with some tables to sit at. A small watering hole but we loved the beer.
