Found when wandering Jewish quarter & received a very warm welcome. Very varied menu with local food as well as more international. My salmon was beautifully simple and cooked to perfection. My wife's beef stew was divine.

We had a lovely dinner here. Loved the steak tartar, delicious wine. The restaraunt had a bit of a classical interior, which is not what I prefer, and the food was served a bit fast, but the food was excellent!

We had not pre-booked. We had however booked into a restaurant in the old town, arrived and been very disappointed with what we saw (particularly so for a 70th birthday treat). So we cancelled and travelled back, close to our accommodation in Kazimierz. We arrived (five of us), unannounced, at Szara Kazimierz around 8.30pm and were warmly welcomed. The menu... More

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in Kraków. While in Kazimierz district, if you don't want to taste any Jewish style meal or burgers in so many cosy places Szara Kazimierz will be the best option. Not a long menu, fresh products, great salads, wonderful fish soup, meat and desserts - all these things make this restaurant a... More

We stopped here for a light lunch. The food was superb. I had soup to start followed by a goats cheese and fig pizza, my husband had the chicken and mushroom pasta. When they give you the bill they also gave us a bag of biscuits which was a really nice touch.

We came here on a whim - without prebooking and were lucky to get a table for 5 on a Saturday night in January. Our waiter was fantastic - very professional and friendly with it. Ambience of the restaurant was spot on....french brasserie style. Menu was excellent for us (we're a family of fairly 'fussy' eaters, and there was a... More

We visited the Szara as a party of 10. The food and also the vine was delicious. The price is a little bit high, but it's worth every penny. Good for some meat with vine.
