We, a group of colleagues, went there on 9 pm and were served by a unique waiter that kept us entertained all the time. And the food was delicious. It's definitely worth a visit.

I got the cholent (traditional stew) with latkes (potato pancakes), which was 30zl. The stew was pretty tasty and well seasoned. The latkes were crispy around the edges, which was good, but they were underdone in the middle, too salty, and too greasy (I think it was a combination of the oil being old and not hot enough and the... Taking a wander through the Jewish Quarter to get our bearings and came upon Ester! The live Jewish band attracted us right away. A lovely time, sitting in the sun enjoying a G&T and listening to live music! Perfect! Didn't try the food but lots to choose from on the menu - food looked good from what we could see... More

We decided to have dinner in this place because they had music but we were happily surprised by the food. I've never tried jewish food and I loved it as a starter I had lamb and then I had chicken and both tasted so good. It's a really nice place to have dinner and the service is really good too.... We were wandering in the neighborhood and this seemed like a place to visit. There was a 3 person band that played nice classic klezmer music. As we sat down the waiters were quick with the menus and they helped us with ordering. Everything was nice and good. It was nice to try kosher food and Jewish traditional food. But... More

We came here for lunch and ate outside, it was a lovely day. The food was good, we had pierogies (the meat ones were a little dry inside) potato pancakes, fried potatoes and a chicken dish with gravy. We didn't have a good waiter so my review is skewed, he gave me the wrong dish ( I literally had pointed... More

Taken by a local, we walked through the very atmospheric jewish district and were told how it had gone into deep decline during the communist area before becoming again the vibrant area it is now. As we entered the square, we heard live music, and that was the Restauracja Ester. It is a great place to sit on a terrace,... More

We had never tried israeli food and decided to try it. We were very pleasantly surprised. There was also live music which was great and added to the atmosphere. The price is also very good, as it is in Poland almost everywhere. Polish food is great, and we ate amazing food on our trip there, but this was the best... More
