Nice restaurant from outside, stone brick walls, inviting exterior and pleasant atmosphere inside. Waiting staff kind enough but looked tired and weary. Food average - garlic prawns an exception. They were tender and in a nice base sauce. Bruschetta bland; basically tasteless tomatoes, cheese, rocket on dried bread. Hardly a piece of Italy. Main of bacon piglet roast quite poor.... More

Overall was pleasant enough. Kid are welcome with a separate kids menu. Carbonara was well received by kids. Seafood pasta needed to have shellfish cleaned to avoid sand. Lamb ravioli ok. Focaccia avoid the crispy bits. House wine was really good.

Restaurant looks a bit strange from outside, but interiors are cosy. Nice atmosphere- there was a little piano concert. Food is good, there are pizzas for little ones. Service is a bit slow, but not significantly. During summer season there was a playground for children in a garden, now they are giving everything to draw.

It was an amazing Italian experience away from Warsaw center. We tried their salad and gluten-free pizza. They have fresh seafood and fish from Wednesday, so unfortunatelly we came on Tuesday and did not get a chance to try their fresh fish. Salad with seafood was good, but pizza was excellent! It was the first time I enjoyed gluten-free pizza... More

Generally Italian-style food, the list of dishes is not very long and changes depending on the season. Good pizzas, pasta, some meat dishes. Tasty desserts. A very good place for weekend dinner or an afternoon coffee. Far from centre, but the stop of bus 180 going to Wilanow Palace right opposite. Recently I have had tomato cream soup which I... More

I have been there several times, recently for a birthday dinner. We had angler fish which was overcooked like twice over and wild mushrooms with grit in them! I think the good days of this place are over. And the portions are very small. Choose someplace else.

Been coming here regularly every time we visit Warsaw. Authentic Italian decor, friendly atmosphere and professional staff. Good for a snack or good for a 3 course meal, you'll never be disappointed by the food from Castello. Popped in last night for a quick snack and were treated to an excellent giant pizza (one of the best I've had) and... More
