Is only good point of this place. Food is really bad, but i think the staff allready knows that. They are not even surprised when u mention them.

But ..we constantly had that impression that waiter wants to charge us more. For example, friend of mine asked for a water and he bouglth one liter (for one person!). A bit pushy attitude ...

the location and the view is excellent...however the food is just average...ordered the risotto scampi...quite tasty but nothing special...the veal Slovenian style was standard.... I expect better food since the hotel recommend this. but this is touristic area

Service was mediocre, even when the restaurant was pretty empty. Tried the seafood pasta, which was rather flavourful, and portion of seafood was good, with scallops, squid, shrimp, and clams / mussels.

After a lovely day exploring Piran by foot and on the bay. Met our friends at Pavel's for dinner. Dinner for 8 was wonderful presented after a round of drinks and with a delightful sunset. The seafood platter for two was bountiful and included sea bass (2), John Dory, squid and giant prawns nicely grilled. Best seafood on this side... More

If you go here order the grilled calamari - it's great. Our night was let down by the service - a surly rude waiter who didn't listen to our order and presumed to order what he thought we should have - the wrong order arrived too! This was rather strange as was the debonair busker come clarinet player who pranced... More

We had just a simple dinner of calamari, fried and grilled. Both dishes very nice. Partner had Tiramisu which he enjoyed. I had pancakes with nuts. The nuts must have been blended as it seemed like a paste on the inside of the pancake. I would prefer them to be in pieces for the texture and more flavour but the... More

Piran is a delightful small town on the coast of Slovenia (yes, Slovenia has a small piece of coast). The peninsula has several good restaurants, but we like Pavel the best. A bit more upscale, but not pricey. Excellent seafood dishes, and other local style food. Get a good table and enjoy the beautiful Adriatic sunsets.

Although our dinner was good, and reasonably priced, a few things contributed to the "average" rating I gave Pavel. Our waiter was extremely surly for starters, and eventually forgot about us. It also took about 20 minutes to finally get our bill. We were also charged for 2 Pogrinjek-which are place settings! It was just one Euro, but still a... More

Quite packed compared to the nabour restaurants. Nice sorroundings and view at the seaside. Nothing special with the food, and the waiter supplied minimum service with an arrogant attitude, The food was OK, and served quicly - food factory.
