I've been here twice already with smaller groups and both occasions convinced me that this is a top restaurant in Budapest. Whatever you choose is delicious and you can trust in the quality of your meal. The location is also special, the wines are very...More

We celebrated a birthday here and it was a great location. Food and service was excellent, and atmosphere (Saturday) was excellent. I can absolutely recommend this place and will be back next time I am in Budapest.

I have visited Deryne several times and know I will be back again for sure! The service is very profesional, helpful and communicative. Food very good as usual. And the atmosphere is a cherry on the top. A must visit place when in Budapest!

I've been at Deryne some different times, mostly with the good intent to bring my friends at a nice place. Or what I experienced only once (actually) as a nice place. The location and the ambience are great. As per the rest, I am not...More

As a solo traveller this often happens - you arrive and they tell you all the tables are booked when clearly they are not - the receptionist tried to sit me inside where it was hot and at the bar - I insisted on an...More

We're in the neighborhood for an evening stroll and found this place by accident. The food was great, a bit pricey and in small portions. You have to order vegetable or salad seperately as side dish. We ordered two glasses of red house wine. The...More

Dear traveller, it is our philosophy to show mains without sides as an overwhelming portion of our local clientele decides to leave out sides completely or take super healthy options with their dietary preferences in mind. This way mains are a bit cheaper in price...More

Went for breakfast on a Sunday and it was perfect. They have musicians that perform, making the ambiance very relaxing. The food was great and the service was impeccable.

Buda's oldest and largest landmark Bistro dating back to 1914, serving warm meals and light appetisers from early in the morning till late at night. Live jazz, wine cellar, open fire place in several dining rooms. Large local bar scene. Kitchen open past midnight most nights. The on-site bakery serves the restaurant and a small artisan bread shop next door. More casual wine bar 'spicc' operated by Deryne just down the street.
