Had an excellent experience at the Dunacorso. Everything was amazing: service, food and view. Fair price, marvelous moment.

The goose in the soup and duck entree were too tough to swallow. Nobody ever refilled our water. Once is enough.

I'm not sure where to start. Sub-standard, overpriced food. Service-- for a lack of a better Shakespearean term is horrid, horrid and horrid! Don't these people understand that we, as customers are paying our hard-earned money to get an experience. If these people don't like...More

The view onto the hills of Buda is unbeatable. The food is very good and you get the atmosphere with the gypsy violins in the background. It’s the perfect picture for the average tourist. As a Hungarian I couldn’t help but feel that there was...More

At the bottom of a lovely building which was the only on the Pest riverfront between the Chain and Freedom bridges to survive World War Two. The outside terrace area, in particular, is charming, with views to Buda's Castle District. The area around the restaurant...More

Definitely good for a beer or wine and enjoy the live music and view of the chain bridge and Buda castle. The food was average, we had the soup, risotto and the paprika chicken with dumplings. The soufflé was good though. The service was poor,...More

Our excellent tour guide, Emily, reserved a table for us at this restaurant, and we were very pleased. We were cordially welcomed to an outdoor table alongside the Danube River. The Hungarian musicians were excellent adding to the riverside ambience. The wait service was very...More

Restaurant looked goos. Nice interior. Menu seemed very nice too. But local chicken pancake as a starter was tasteless and ugly. Sturgeon as a main course was better than it´s looks. Desert was flavorless. Dunacorso looked out like a fancy restaurant but tastes were more...More

It’s a beautiful place to sit outside, great view and the prices weren’t unfair because of the gorgeous location. We got the goulash and it tasted like it should, with lots of filling - really was full after the bowl serving.

Beautiful Hungarian live music. Good choice of domestic wines and traditional food. It was very romantic to listen to hungarian musicians and drink wine with candles and blanket. Staff was friendly also

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

Our restaurant is located in the heart of the city centre, on Vigadó Square, looking on Duna-korzó. This wonderful walking path along the Danube on the Pest side has always been a favourite meeting and walking place for people and there has always been a coffe-house or a restaurant on the site of our venue ever since the 1870’s. Duna Corso restaurant is run by the same family for more than 40 years. Now it is already the third generation working here, thinking over and recreating traditional recipes. The nostalgic old and the reformed new tastes of Hungarian cuisine combined with our own gastronomic traditions determine the selection on the menu. From early spring till late autumn we welcome our guests on one of the most wonderful, panoramic terraces whereas during winter time we await them with our classic and modern rooms. In the evenings the culinary experience is completed by live music. In 2015 we added a confectionary to our restaurant. We offer freshly made cakes and homemade ice-cream every day.
