Walked into this place at 7:30pm and waited to be greeted by someone for what seemed like 5 minutes. As we looked around the main dining room there were dirty dishes on almost every table with no diners in sight. Although they may have enjoyed their food, we were turned away and told by the waiter that according to the... More

There are a few Korean restaurants is Budapest but most of them are mediocre at their best. This place is run by Korean people and its core clientele is also Korean. It's funny that you can sit in this place by yourself only and suddenly a bus-load of Koreans storm the venue. The place serves authentic Korean food, the tastes... More

Best Korean restaurant in Budapest. The only thing that was a bit discouraging for us at first, is the menu. Although everything sounds delicious, it just has so many dishes on it (and for some reason the menu itself looked like it was put together from 3-4 different menu-booklets) that we were really unsure about what we can and should... If you come here for the food, your won't be disappointed. Wide selection of dishes, excellent quality. This is not fine dining however, this is core Korean! All other guests were Koreans, enough for an approval. :) Things to know: prices may seem to be a bit high. BUT: you get more than you order. You get tea, appetizers, etc... More

I can only disagree with the previous review, and not only because of the totally pointless reference to prison camps... Some people really enjoy stereotypes. Owner maintains a low profile but is always present, which means a lot, and waiters are calm and polite. Speaking of food, this is the best Korean kitchen I have experienced in Budapest, a bit... The food is great. No doubt about that, as Korean as it can get. But somehow, you have the feeling that you are not really welcome here. The owner doesn't speak any languages besides Korean, which makes you feel like being i n Korea, but it also makes you feel like an unwelcome foreigner. Weird. I told you. The waiters... More

The food is delicious and the portions are large. The staff is very friendly and attentive. if there is a big group in the food may take a while but in general, this is the best Korean restaurant in Budapest.

It's worth going. No doubt. I'm learning Korean culture and cuisine.Whenever big city I go,always enquire about Korean place to eat. So when it happened to visit Budapest, Korean places to eat were already on my phone, screened, saved and ready to visit. To tell you the truth, I was more than surprised by the previous review, that the owner is gloomy,funeral-faced person.... I was craving for some Korean food so we tried this restaurant in the Buda hills. When arriving, the owner was not friendly at all, that was strange after spending some time in Eastern Asia (never been to Korea though...). We just sat down in the almost empty and quite chilly restaurant. However, half an hour later the facility was... More

My wife is a native of Korea, I lived in Korea and still visit about once a year; we have eaten Korean food in Cusco, Peru, in Germany and in many cities of the US. In other words, while we do not claim to be a culinary expert of any kind, we do know what good Korean food is supposed... More
