We went for dinner at the Corso Restaurant, which is just in front of the Danube, on the promenade. The restaurant has a terrasse, and is part of the Intercontinental hotel. We just arrived without reservation, and were offered a table on the terrasse. The...More

The setting is wonderful, the service is good, the food average and overpriced. I could write this review about hotel restaurants everywhere but we did enjoy the evening aided by the free show provided by the opening of the world water championships.

Had dinner here and meal was well below standard of any restaurant in this chain and prices did not reflect the quality or tastiness of the meal. The service was poor and attitude of waiter indifferent. All up a dismal experience in a beautiful setting.

The location on the Danube is excellent. You can enjoy your breakfast or just your coffee in the morning or you can have a lunch or dinner. The food was not so great but this restaurant is all about the view.

Beautiful location to watch the sunset right alongside the Danube and overlooking the Buda Castle. Pity the food was not that great, in all honesty a bit of a tourist trap but we chose it for location as we had planned a night time river...More

Went her twice in a few days. On both occasions the food was excellent and this was matched by the service. On the first occasion we had not booked and when we got there the best tables had gone but we still had a great...More

The food here was excellent. Me and my girlfriend went for the tasting menu with wine and it was fantastic. It really was delicious. The views from the outside are amazing also. The one thing that wasn't so good was the atmosphere. It was empty...More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
