Another great recommendation we got. A small, packed patisserie in Buda near the castle. It's easy to miss and pass by so be mindful. A variety of cakes on the display. I ordered the cremsnit (cream cake) and my wife ordered the Ruszwurm cake. Both...More

Unique confectionary with exepional atmosphere of XIX century. You will find there a wide choice of cakes, desserts and coffees. Because of repute of this place and proximity of the caste and Halaszbastya, can be crowdy

The oldest cafe at Buda hill. Sisi would come here. Outdoor seating with blankets and are available. We stayed indoors. There are two rooms. I had melange and an apple pastry. Customers came in to get gift orders. Relaxing and historic stop.

Very crowded. We orded a piece of Cremshnit cake and a piece of Marzipan liquor cake. Both were very good! Service was a bit slow. The Jasmine Tee was good to. Not very expensive ether. I recommend a visit.

On reading all the good reviews we decided to try this place. Heavily crowded, no-one taking charge of the order of seating, rude people pushing in. We left after queuing inside for 15 minutes. Shame.

It is amazing that this cafe is 200 years old. Our guide recommended us to try this place and the moment we arrived to Castle Hill, we headed here first which was the right decision as half an hour later, there was a queue from...More

We Came for the Kremshnit but there was not even a piece left so we ended up getting 3 different cakes. They were very nice and the service was also great.
