I can't fault this place. The service was friendly and quick and the food was great. We even got a free drink each as we got a leaflet from our hotel. We would definitely go back. :-)

Great food and service, live jazz music every evening at 20.00, very nice and relaxing atmosphere. We ate at the Ladó café 3 times and can strongly recommend it.

Lado Cafe was the best meal of our 2.5 week, multi-country Europe vacation. The food was excellent, traditional Hungarian. The cafe has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The service was great and the prices reasonable. Lado Cafe is a must visit restaurant when in Budapest.

Description
We prepare the classic meals of the Hungarian cuisine. We recomend the popular goulash soup, the little bit spicy vegetable ragout "Lecso" and the city's popular "Budapest style beefsteak with goose liver". Besides the meals, there are live jazz concerts every evening from 20:00 till 22:00.
