We ate at Pater Marcus twice while in Budapest. We ordered the Meat Platter for Two the first visit. It was excellent and plentiful. We notice another table ordered the Fish Platter for Two, so we had to come back to try that another night....More

A very good choice for dinner. My friends really liked the place. I would definitely recommend it for the beers. The staff was really nice, although the place was full, they found a table for us quickly.

Just below the Carlton Hotel. Underground cellars. First class service and atmosphere. Food and drink very good value - main course about £10. Large glass of nice house wine £2. Visited three evenings whilst in Budapest.

We visited here as we were staying at the Carlton hotel next door and after walking round the city all day didn't fancy straying too far. The food was really good with lovely flavours, and all was washed down with the wonderful beer.

A lot of different beers even if I personally missed some west coast IPA but this is a Belgian restaurant so you can't expect that. The food was excellent and the service really good with nice and knowledgeable waitresses.

Had a lovely lunch at this Belgian bar - found by chance whilst wandering around the old town in Budapest. Well worth a visit - fantastic food, polite service and amazing beer served just as it should be!

Staying in the Carlton Hotel (next door) had two evening meals here, both were very good, service was excellent and r=drinks at reasonable prices. Seemed very busy both nights.
