Just so tasty ice cream, beautiful presentation too! Personal favourites : Hazelnut, walnut, vanilla. Came back three times in two days (so far) in a chilly weather, so I think that speaks for itself. Recommended!

So conveniently located across from St Stephen’s! After making the decision to walk all the way to the top, I was ready for a reward! I lucked out because it was really windy outside and there was no one in the small shop. They had...More

The best Gelato you should have when you are in Budapest. The place close to Stephen's Basilica. The place is hugely crowded in most of the time on the weekend.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention

I'm sorry I really don't know. Like others I was fascinated by the beautiful design. Perhaps they could put the ice-cream in a tub?

Located in the center of Budapest (Basilica), Gelarto Rosa is the best ice cream in our town! Owner, the charismatic Niki Szokron studied the secrets of old Italian family recipes straight from the source in Italy and brought it back to her city. The philosophy behind it: fresh and true quality ingredients, old Italian traditions, modern technic and as final touch, add artistic creativity. The pretty ice cream girls at Niki's shop "create" each and every portion or cone as a unique artwork using ice cream as art material. It's simply amazing! n.
