We stopped there by chance and we were happily surprised by the very tasty food. We had an excellent goulash soup that we recommend. The only negative point could be the service is a little bit slow and they even forgot one of our dishes....More

I came from breakfast but heard that dinner is more crowded and requires a reservation. Maybe I'll try coming right at 5 for early dinner. I'll definitely be back!

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

The menu is very varied. Yes there are veggie options. I csn not speak Hungarian and your menu choices are helped by the waitor and pictures of the meals. I had potato and cheese dumplings in tomato saucewith walnuts.
