We expected more from the cafe in the city center. One good thing is that they have menu with pictures. Meal was just ordinal. We ordered goulash with rice, fish with rice and vegetables, cake (best cake of 2013) and pancake with strawberry. It all...More

Drum Cafe offers set menus which make a three course meal affordable. Taste of the food was great and the waiters were pleasant. They kindly lowered the volume of the music when asked. Various goulash dishes on offer. Sweetness of the desert just right.

The place is ok if you are not looking for a good meal and price is the priority. Cheap cafe situated in the jewish quarter. I’m not sure why the rating is so high. The food was average. I’ve ordered goulash with rice. The meat...More

Approached to a queue of people waiting for seats. We only had to wait about 10 minutes and we were seated inside. The cheese soup was my favourite food of the holiday! A must try here!

It is my favorite restaurant in Budapest now. There are lot of dishes in menu, you can spend a week to test all of them. Funny waiters, one of them probably can talk even Suakhili.

Cheap food, have been here twice and the food quite ok. Popular place when it sometimes gets queued. It's not hard to find good food in Budapest so Drum Cafe is nothing I'd be up for. A little loud music for my taste.

This was the first place where we ate in Budapest. They have some menus for 3slide dishes for 7,9 euros. The first slide is goulash- the taste was excellent but the portion was so small and you only get one little toast bread with it....More

We found the food all very tasty, and none of it too dry. We generally arrived about 7pm, to a full establishment, but they found space for us, without us having to wait too long. To say generally bad, then why was it full... More

The menu is very varied. Yes there are veggie options. I csn not speak Hungarian and your menu choices are helped by the waitor and pictures of the meals. I had potato and cheese dumplings in tomato saucewith walnuts.
