I have been tried most Indian restaurant in Budapest, and this one is really unique. The usual restaurant is fancy and expensive, where I rarely go; here i come when I'm hungry and want to eat food I like. Not for the milieau, not for the service. It's like fast food for Indian cuisine. The place is really plain, and... More

When we come here or order from this place we always order butter chicken + garlic naan. They taste amazing together.

Its nothing fancy, but its ok. The food was tasty and the service is nice. You can pay with any type of card or cash. It can get very crowded around 12 pm, but if arrive 20 to there is no line at all.

I pass this place twice per day and see it being packed with people from around office buildings. Not only is this place unnoticeable - it is a gem of Indian cuisine. It is not posh and not trying to lie lure you in with oriental decor. It is a plain simple buffet that serves great quality Indian common food.... More

Folks in the kitchen are local indians so the good quality is there! prices are amazing - best indian for value money in Budapest!! visited many times. come at least 1 hour before closing to... My favorite Indian restaurant in town. Food is really good and affordable. From outside it looks like an old garage/warehouse but don't be afraid to go in :)

Hathi is offering great, authentic Indian food for reasonable price. They have wide selection with quick service. The place itself is simple, you get the food in recyclable plastic plates, but it has a special atmosphere anyway. Recommended.

Hathi is a pre-cooked indian fast food eatery, their curries are pre-cooked but naans are made on spot. I have known Hathi for 7+ years now and never a let-down. Good quality, cheap and always very friendly service. You can not go wrong with Hathi if you dont want to eat in a fancy, expensive Indian restaurant....

All curryes are pre cooked but they are still delicious. Naan is made fresh and served hot. Service is as quick as any fast food joint. It is shame that everything is plated on plastic.
