Just off one of the world's most beautiful avenues, Budapest's UNESCO World Heritage Site-honoured, Andrássy út (boulevard), is this not-to-be-missed, tiny gem. Perhpas not too well-known by outsiders is that Hungarian cuisine is not all meat-based. There is a long tradition of preparing delicious vegetable stews. So - rejoice all those who wish to bypass another bowl of beef "pörkölt"... More

Tried this place today. The food in this place is reasonably priced but that does not excuse the extremely poor quality and total lack of taste. First try: spinach "fözelek" (kind of soupy stew). I ate at several other cheap Hungarian restaurants and Hungarian people's homes and all of them were better than at this place. What they did here... More

There are several outlets in Budapest of this chain. The portions are decent and edible, the price is very reasonable. One of the few chains with vegetarian options: lentils, potatoes, peas, spinach. A little bit too much gravy in each. Two dishes will create a full meal and there are a variety of desserts. Meat options, also: chicken, pork, chicken... More

Recommend this place for those who want to eat tasty and not very expensive. The dishes does not look 'eatable' but they are really tasty. Try it and you won't be disappointed )

This place, or actually this chain is a disgrace to food in general. The 'fozelek' is made of the lowest-grade vegetables, everything swims in a thick sauce of flour and gravy. They even spare the really cheap stuff such as potatoes or lentils. They hide the poor quality with the overuse of paprika and cumin. It's just not good, it... More

Amazing cheap eats! For $2 - $4 euros you are going to get a feast here. Not the highest quality food, but still quite tasty. Good selection. Enjoy!

The service is quick, the prices are OK, the meals are good! It is like a fast food restaurant, they always cook a daily menu you can choose. Try it!

Főzelék is a special category in the Hungarian cuisine, which is not quite like a soup and thinner than a stew and it can be made from different vegetables. Today I had tokfozelek ( Hungarian type of pumpkin ) and some fried cauliflower and mushroom...and it was very tasty . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was... More

I don't like it really much, too expensive for the food you can get. The variousity is OK. I did not visit then since years, my wife visits them sometimes, she thinks the same... There are better places than this.

The universal of you get what you pay for not surprisingly rings true in Budapest as well. After we had eaten in modern, westernized places - including price, we thought we'd be savvy and check for the famous great value eateries aimed at locals, avoiding tourist prices. While they might exist somewhere, this is hardly true for the ones you... More
