It was busy when we passed earlier in the day so booked a table for 7pm. Staff were friendly and attentive. We sat inside and ordered food and wine The Caesar's Salad was excellent but the Paprika Chicken needed to have more Paprika for me. It really depends on personal preferences. Overall an excellent cost effective evening meal

This is a cozy place with friendly staff. Vian has several restaurants. Compared with the one in Gozsdu and Liszt Ferenc Ter this one is by far the better one. The location is downtown but not in the very busy tourist traps.

I had lunch here on a Monday with my friends. The menu attracted me with a good choice of Hungarian meal, which was good, but nothing really remarkable, more a canteen portion and taste kind of a food. The interior is funny, as a Hungarian imagines French style. The services were attentive, prices are mid-range.

My husband and I are here for our anniversary/birthday and wanted to have a comfy cozy lunch somewhere quaint. Found it! This was an amazing dining experience! Our waiter, Balazs, was amazing! He spoke great English which was a great help. The manager, Benjamin, was also fantastic. We ordered Goulash, must be done. It was delicious. Great starter. We then... More

The meat was dull, the fries tasted like they were made yesterday and on top of that we had to wait 70 minuttes!

We visited this nice restaurant late evening with some of friends. We had eaten goose liver Hungarian art and New York burger, and also Hungarian cold plate as appetiser. Everything was very tasty. Also dreher beer and the birspalinka. Service was very attended and spoken good English. Desserts looked good but we were filled, so decided for one more palinka:)... More

I went here in 2015 with friends and the food was great. I brought work colleagues and it was great. Last year I went with friends and it was awful both the food and service. Tonight I thought I would try again but what a mistake. The food was awful under cooked and cold. At least the service was good... More

Great place to eat or stop for a drink, we did both... Staff are friendly and attentive, and the costs reasonable. Food was good and an atmosphere to match.

Thank Darren H

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
