tried their traditional hungarian jewish cake and it was delightful, the place is super homely and the person on staff when we were there was incredibly kind and helpful

Simple place, nice to stay for a moment visiting that part of Budapest, I like it very much, I would like to visit that Cafe once more!
We had a coffeeand a flodny here before our guided tour in the Synagogue. We thought it was very small and cozy, and the pastries served here are homemade and fresh. Very remommendable.
While on a walking tour of the Jewish district, our guide recommended stopping at this tiny little cafe to try Flodni, a layered cake. The shop is cute and tiny with a few tables. The service was quick and friendly.

We stopped here for coffee and some desserts, we had Flodni - typical Jewish cake, which was extremely rich and quite tasty. The other dessert was nothing special to speak of. It is a tiny place with a couple of tables. Can be nice though.
