The are a couple of positives about this small place. Firstly, they have a very wide range of drinks. This includes a whole page of different tequilas. Secondly, the decor is bright and cool. However, the food is generic at best. Both our chilli con carne and burrito where about the same quality as a frozen version from the supermarket.

An easy-going outlet with a wide range of Mexican-inspired food, local & intl beer plus requilas. The street-level part gets crowded quickly, look for seats on the -1 floor. Burritos etc. prepare in 6-8 minutes. As a local I appreciate this place for it's atmosphere & good value.

We ate a burrito and a indian styled vegan dish. The food was the worst we have ever experienced in a restaurant. The burrito tasted horrible. I could only eat a couple of bites. The veggie dish was a microwave meal that was served cold. The price is low but this food is not eatable. Dont consider this place for... More

Awful awful slow service! The 'three minute' tacos took over 20 minutes and they got so many orders wrong in the time i was waiting. Surprised mine was right? Food is ok but doesn't make up for appalling service

We discovered this place after a very heavy night of fun in the ruin bar beside it. The food is perfect to fix the dodgy belly from the night before. It was so good that we ordered double. The burritos are amazing

The place was crowded. We ordered burritos, quesadillas and tacos al pastor. The service was awful. We had to wait more than 40'. They gave us the wrong order and the cook got really mad as we did not remember exactly if we ordered 2 or 3 burritos and he went bananas. The food was really bad, not Mexican at... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
